I am originally from Robbinsdale, MN which is a suburb of Minneapolis. Don't worry, I'm not a Vikings fan. I spent the first 21 years of my life in the Twin Cities. After earning my two-year degree from North Hennepin Community College, I moved to Marshall, MN to finish my undergraduate work at Southwest Minnesota State University. While in undergrad, I explored the possibility of attending law school. The year after I graduated was spent working for the Schwan Food Company loading and unloading semi-trailers at night and interning for the Minnesota Public Defender's Office during the day. From 2005 to 2008, I attended the University of North Dakota School of Law in Grand Forks. After graduating from there, I passed both the Minnesota and Wisconsin bar exams. In 2009, I accepted a position with a local Green Bay law firm which is where I learned bankruptcy law. I worked there for over three years. Now, here I am in my own office!
In my spare time I enjoy following NASCAR, the Packers (I've always been a traitor!), the Minnesota Wild, and the University of North Dakota men's hockey team. I also enjoy playing guitar, going to live music, listening to music, spending time with my family and friends, and taking care of my parrot named "Axl."
